If you Love Someone, Tell them

If you love someone, tell them.
Do not wait- simply do tell them. This might be hard at times especially for parents who seem overbearing or a constant pain but if they are your parents and you feel even a speck of love, never forget to tell them.
I have had quite the day and an experience that has prompted me to write this- and for my friend, losing his Father this past week made him realize that the man did so much to set him on the right path and he was never grateful. He felt his Father was always unfair for punishing him- and letting him live and fend for himself at a tender age. He got a steady job, and now takes care of himself and can even spare some to treat his Mom and siblings- and he just learned that his Father taught him how to stand on his own two feet- not because he was punishing him but because he was teaching him the greatest lesson a Father could teach his Son- and that is how to be his own Man.
See, I have often heard people say that "it's not enough to tell, show!"
But, I beg to differ at the moment with that- it is better not only to show but to tell them- for in words come conviction.
I will use my friend's simple analogy- A woman can never know if a man is serious about her until that time he asks "will you marry me?"

What's the worst that could happen?
I mean, maybe then they will laugh or worse off not believe you and if it someone you hope to court- they might reject you- so what?
It is way better that pinning for their love and always wondering what might have been.

So, be bold and get moving and start telling.
Let it be told when you can- and while you are it- check out this video En Cambio No- Laura Pausini
